OUR CYCLING CLASSES

  • Knew New

    This beginner’s class is for those who have never cycled with this style. The RPMs are slow & steady, and the combinations are basic & foundational. This slower pace helps to build your core, legs, & form to increase your skills & confidence. You won’t be in this class very long. Trust me. I’m preparing you to go to the next level. But you “knew” that.

    Wednesday – 6:00pm – Knew New

  • The Middletons

    This intermediate class takes the spin tempo & levels up a few notches. It will start out slow, then midway, the intensity increases. Of course, we will slow the tempo & bring you back down to a decreased speed. Eventually.

    Thursday – 6:00pm – The Middletons

  • Renegades

    This advanced class is for the radicals. The revolutionaries. The progressives. The ones that want to dance to every song. The beats of the music are faster, the RPMs are quicker, the combinations are more frequent and more complex. As soon as the music starts, it’s time to takeoff. This class is a calorie torcher. Eat your Wheaties before you come to this one.

About the Gym

SpinT is a fun, progressive style of indoor cycling that boasts a high impact, full body cardio workout using arm combinations over the sounds of the hottest urban & hip-hop music mixes. The RPMs are based solely on the beats & tempo of the song being played. The spin cycle begins on the downbeat; signifying a syndicated, coordinated, orchestrated spin. It targets lower body quads & glutes with the spin; & also upper body shoulders & biceps using a combination form. For increased intensity, we occasionally use light (2,3,5lb) free weights, (short/long) bands, & weighted bars. This extraordinary style of spin mimics & hails directly from it’s creator, Clarisse “Risse” Frazier of Shocked By Risse in Atlanta, Georgia. Countless hours have been spent studying & comprehending the fundamentals so that you can fully experience this distinct level of spin.
